Illustrator & Character Designer
Hello! I go by Inky Doodle (Inky for short.) I dabble in many forms of art media including markers, watercolor, paint pens and digital art.
I have experience in creating websites, graphic design, graphic novels, traditional and digital illustration and short animation. Here are some example of my work.
Saplings
Saplings began as an original project in 2018, where I created a felt plush of the first Sapling. They would later become the inspiration for the pilot sapling comics.
The original 2018 pilot follows our MC into the Sapling's world. The 2019 sequel pilot follows our MC as she meets the Wizard sapling and learns more about their world and future threats.
My Plan
My plan for Saplings is to further develop the story into a stand-alone series by studying sequential art. I'm not sure if I'd prefer to make it a web comic or a graphic novel, but something like it for the future.
Character Design
Over the years I have created many characters that are dear to my heart. Each hold their own stories that I wish to tell someday, but mainly through art

My plan is to further evolve my characters in their designs, while showing them through the illustrations I make
Illustration
I often work on my illustration skills to improve my art, perspective and storytelling.

My plan is to continue making illustrations digitally and traditionally in order to show storytelling and emotions through my art
Thoughts: Webcomic
Thoughts began in spring 2020 as a way to cope with real world events and stress management. Since then it has turned into a loose diary time capsule webcomic, where my main priority was expressing myself when words can't. There is some story, but told very abstractly.
My Plan
My plan now that it has ended, is to use what I've learned as a launching point for future projects. I will use it as a way to look back on what needs improvement for future stories (layout/panel composition, storytelling, etc.)
